Why Trustline

Retire the spreadsheets and green screens.

Most fund offices still reconcile remittances by hand, track hour banks in legacy systems, and scramble at 5500 time. Trustline automates that work.

Today

  • Remittance reports keyed in from paper and PDFs
  • Eligibility recalculated manually each month
  • Delinquencies found months late
  • Carrier eligibility files built by hand
  • Trustee packets assembled from emailed spreadsheets

With Trustline

  • Employers upload or submit through the API, and payments auto-reconcile
  • A rules-based hour-bank engine runs on every posting
  • Dunning, interest, and liquidated damages are calculated automatically
  • 834 feeds go out to carriers, PBMs, and networks on schedule
  • Live trustee dashboards and one-click meeting packets

FAQ

Common questions

Is Trustline a TPA?

No. Trustline is software. Fund offices and TPAs use it to administer their funds, and your staff (or your TPA's) keeps the participant relationship.

Who counts as a participant for billing?

Each covered member (active, self-pay, COBRA, or retiree) with coverage in the month. Dependents are not counted.

Can you migrate our historical hour banks and work history?

Yes. We migrate employer, participant, dependent, contribution, and hour-bank history from legacy systems and validate it during the parallel run.

Where is data hosted, and how is PHI protected?

Data is hosted in US regions, encrypted at rest and in transit, with SOC 2 Type II controls, a signed BAA, field-level access controls, and immutable audit logs.

Do we have to use the claims module?

No. Many funds keep claims with a PPO network or claims TPA. Trustline sends eligibility over 834 and receives claims data for reporting.

Can we respond to our RFP with this pricing?

Yes. We provide itemized pricing suitable for trustee RFP comparisons and 408(b)(2) disclosures.
